Camanche Dam is a dam on the Mokelumne River in central California, about 20 mi (32 km) east of Lodi. The dam lies in the Sierra Nevada foothills in San Joaquin County and forms Camanche Lake, which serves mainly for flood control. It also has a power station capable of generating 10.7 megawatts.[2]
